Hello, I’m Jesse, and I am the leader of the artistic projects team of SistamatiK. In the artistic projects team we make bulletin boards (updating weekly), design t-shirts, banners, and we even designed our logo! Being the leader of the artistic projects means that I am in charge of recording all of the tasks that we have done and making sure that we finish all of our tasks. I’ve been having so much fun being in the SistamatiK robotics team! Even though I have not been a part of the technical side of the team, I still feel like I am a part and am welcomed in SistamatiK. The thing I love most about being in the artistic projects team is that I do not have to hold back on my creativity and that I am encouraged to be as imaginative and artistic as possible.
There is room for everyone on our Robotics team! We have many teams in SistamatiK so there is always a project to be done. The teams in SistamatiK are Design, Build, Social Media, Artistic, Charity, Chairsman Award, and Programming. Even if you are into the technical side of robotics (design, build, and programming) anyone can come help us with the more imaginative side (artistic projects, awards, and charity) of SistamatiK! There is always something to do here and we would love it if more people would come join our lovely team next season!

Hi! I am Lydie- the other team captain from SistamatiK team 5583. We are the only all-female team in our region. The main reason I love my team is because we are all about having fun-while building our team and robot! During our meetings, we get quite a lot accomplished, but we have a great time doing it! Our team’s main priority is to get stuff done while having a blast! We are normally jamming out to the radio while driving or building our robot. We do not want people to count us out of the game because we are an all-female team. We are bringing our A game and coming to win! Only 26 more days until BAG DAY!
Hi, this is Annie! I am a team captain! Team 5583 (SistamatiK) went to our first FIRST Robotics kick-off on January 3rd. We gathered with our mentors and teammates in excited anticipation. When our team was announced as a rookie team, we smiled at the applause, happy to be there. The video started to play, and we took in all the information, thrilled at the Recycle Rush challenge. Next, we threw around concepts and met other teams as we waited to get our supplies. After receiving our supplies, Gateway helped us understand the basics of our robot kit. Then, we headed back to Rosati. The afternoon was filled with exploring the supplies, starting the chassis, and coming up with many, many designs. Our team energetically worked in a SistamatiK way to successfully start out the season.
