Time is money now, isn't it? Bag/Stop Build/Whatever-it's-called day is fast approaching, and, boy, is it obvious we need to get a move on!
We got a TON done today. From programming servo motors to assembling our new driver's station, SistamatiK has been busy. I myself have spent the whole day mounting the da- *ahem* lovely control system into our actual robot. It was difficult because our gear-catching mechanism was blocking my hands and vision most of the time. Fortunately, I have non-claustrophobic fingers. Now everything is secure and mostly insulated. I can finish it up next time. I also wired our practice robot's main brain, which was a whole lot easier given there was more space. Cassie, Charlotte, and Ethel assembled the coolest driver's station on the planet. It's gold and black and it looks really good. That's one reason to look forward to competition. Lizzie and her programming brigade, along with our mentor Evan, smoothed out the programming bits and got our servo motors working right. Good on them; I have no idea how those work. For lunch we had an "All-American" potluck. Best part of the day. Most definitely. We even got to sit outside a bit because of the unnatural winter weather. (Is it still February? I sure can't tell.) But we still have so much work to do! Onward, full steam ahead! Smell ya later! (If my sense of smell hasn't been compromised by next time.) Eleanor, Electrical Head
