I hope none of you wonderful folks got buried in the ice storm. Because if you did, you won't be able to learn about all the cool things Team 5583 SistamatiK is doing!
Unfortunately, our Saturday meeting was cancelled due to the weather, but the team is working hard to make up for the lost time. The Chairman's team was working on, whaddya know, the Chairman's essay, and the rest of the build team was split. One group was constructing the fuel hopper, and the others were redoing our chassis to fit in the omni-wheels we had gotten before the meeting. They're finishing that up now. Big news, guys! I have apprentices. Not just one, two! Some of our sophomores have, probably very reluctantly, have agreed to take up the yoke of the Electrical Team. Now I actually have an Electrical Team to head! I showed them the basics of wire stripping and crimping and what the heck plugs where the heck. I think they were thrilled (In this sense, the word 'thrilled' means 'bored'). All jokes aside, we have the basic components of the control system all set up and ready to go! I can't wait for the next step! I hope you had a n-ice weekend! Eleanor, Electrical Team Head
